Psoriasis causing you to hate your skin?
If you have psoriasis and are interested in assisting the medical community to improve treatments of this skin condition, Dermatology and Laser Center of Charleston (DLCC) wants you to consider participation in a clinical trial study.
Pharmaceutical research studies collect information from those psoriasis patients treated with systemic medications to determine what positive and negative effects develop from these therapies. Currently, DLCC staff are engaged in trials that collect and investigate this data. Working with multiple dermatology offices across the nation, patients will be monitored over a 5 to 10 year period and continuously report their health status to their investigative dermatologist. Combined results of these studies will assess the long-term safety and benefits of multiple different psoriasis medications. Patients are evaluated approximately every 6 months to assess their psoriasis, general health and response to treatment.
Even if you are not currently receiving treatment for your psoriasis, you may still be eligible. Please provide us with your contact information so that we can determine your eligibility.

Dermatology and Laser Center of Charleston (DLCC) was exclusively chosen to spearhead a skin care study customized just for you!
The study sponsor has selected our office as the first in the United States to help track the results of a new line of Italian superficial skin peels. This unique system has been developed and widely used in Italy before reaching the United States.
Each series of peels is tailored to target your specific skin type whether it be acneic, hyperpigmented, sun damaged, combination oily or combination dry. Results include an outstanding improvement in the appearance of fine expression lines and pigment irregularities. Overall enhancement of skin brilliance, skin tone, and a reduction of pore size will also be evident. Softening of the skin and of shallow acne scars are just another of the many expected and desired outcomes.
