Ginger has been with Dr. Schlesinger since he opened his Charleston practice in 2005. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years and has a tremendous amount of accounting and finance experience. Graduating from the University of Florida in the mid 70s with a Bachelor of Arts in English, she relocated to the low country and graduated from the College of Charleston in 1991. Earning a double major, she simultaneously completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Responsible for every aspect of the practice operations, she combines her expertise with her creative talents to handle most of the marketing and practice development as well.
Having spent most of her life in the outdoors, she takes pride in the work Dr. Schlesinger and his staff have done to rejuvenate her skin and will often share stories about the different procedures she has had done with patients. Her spare time is spent with her boyfriend, Patrick, his two daughters- Lauren and Izzy and their two dogs, Skyy and Morgan. Sharing a love of music and adventure, they can often be spotted enjoying musical concerts and events, watching the Braves or the Florida Gators as well as traveling to visit family and friends. Ginger often says “life is full of wise choices” and joining the DLCC team was one of her wisest!
Jennie joined the DLCC staff in September 2011 after working as a Marketing Director at a commercial real estate firm for 4 years. An Ole Miss Rebel alum, when asked why she moved to Charleston after graduation, her reply is simply: To live by the beach. If you ask where she's from originally, however, Jennie will often reply "the South" as she is currently living in her 6th state and 7th city - all south of the Mason Dixon line. In the office you'll find her at Patient Check out or running around snapping photos of our staff with her phone to update the DLCC Facebook and Twitter pages. An avid Social Media participant, Jennie began blogging in 2007 and now has an established blog, The Sassy Steel Magnolia, as well as a strong Social Media presence. Off-line, Jennie enjoys being outside, working out, reading, writing and rummaging through antique stores. Regardless if you see Jennie inside or outside the office, there's usually a 90% chance she'll have her headphones on and if you watch long enough you can probably catch her dancing along to her music (or singing if she isn't paying attention!).
